Sew Stylish! By Annie Bags with Island Batik 2025

Welcome back for this month’s Island Batik Challenge, partnering with a longtime favorite, ByAnnie!

As an Island Batik Ambassador, I received the materials and supporting tools for this project. Thank you ByAnnie and Lumin Fabrics!

The bag I picked out for this challenge is Power Trip. It’s a handy medium size case with mesh pockets, perfect for small devices and cords.

This challenge is great for Ambassadors to pick out their favorite lines that may not have made it into their ambassador boxes. I lept on Earth Essence by Kathy Engle. The stamping on this has beautiful fractal shapes in all the greens, browns, and taupes I adore.

Here is my big reveal!

My family has been calling it my “dino lunchbox!”

The ByAnnie Zipper in Hemlock was a perfect match to this fabric line! I really enjoyed doing all over pebble quilting to give the bag a fun texture as well.

Being the 5th bag I’ve made from By Annie, this is one of the more simple patterns with no hardware. This one came together easily over the weekend, and makes a great travel companion!

This bag was part of a comparison review I made for storing glucose monitoring devices and accessories. You can see that review in my YouTube Channel Best ByAnnie Bags for Glucose Monitoring
