Are you ready to make some friends? Is it ok if they’re a little funky? Well this month is going to be a real treat for you because the Island Batik Ambassadors have each selected a pattern from Funky Friends Factory to make with their choice of Island Batik fabrics! Some are wild and wonderful, some a cuddly and sweet!

The friend I selected was Penny the Penguin. I’ve been excited to make this one for my 3 year son who has had sparks of love for penguins at through many waves. From the singing dancing penguin he got on his 1st birthday, to the actual penguin we saw at Columbus Zoo this past month!
