For the Island Batik Ambassador program this month, we are unboxing a whole new shipment of treats ranging from fabric, to patterns, to all the supporting notions for our projects in the last half of the year. First up is a fun essential, Batting! Hobbs Batting sponsors all of our projects with their range of products. I also received Heirloom Batting in Black that didn’t get in the picture! I already started ripping into it, it’s so great for deep colored quilt projects.

This collection is called Twilight! I’m so excited about this color palette!

Neutrals are a staple! I’m obsessed with the dark gray fabric. It makes colors pop perfectly!

Precuts! Lots of teal, pink and browns!

Foundations fabrics. Great for your solid quilts, or a little pop of accent! I love these for my more precise piecing because they don’t fray making them a dream to work with in high contrast projects.

Stash builders are 5-inch strip sets in rolls of four. And then Aurifil has supplied 40 weight thread which coodinates with the Twilight fabric line. I love this for decorative quilting thread!
