This sew along require the Prairie Home Book by Lori Holt, which is already over 200 color pages of multiple quilt projects. Lots of people use these samplers to test out different blocks, then have so much they make the full quilt projects they came from along the way! Get the Book at Fat quarter shop!

I’m using an older collection of fat quarters from Island Batik from a collection called Metropolitan. I’m also throwing in the breathtaking browns 10-inch pre-cuts to make my blocks lots of earthy tones and sepia grade.

What a relief to have the sashing and borders already to go! When I did the Simply Jelly Roll Quilt Along, I fell off at the borders. There’s excitement and moment in the block creation, that it’s easy to lose steam when the blocks are done, and all the heavy lifting of sashing and borders is left. I’m glad to have this step done first! Then were right next to the finish line when the last blocks are done!
