Log cabin quilts are such a staple in the quilting community, yet there always seems to be a new take on it that makes them exciting to explore. I had plenty of fabric left over form my Island Batik February Blog post where the ambassadors each made a runner utilizing a tool from Deb Tucker 180 Studio.
As a disclaimer, I am in the Lumin Fabrics, Island Batik Ambassador program which sponsors my fabric, as well as partnering with Oliso Home, Hobbs Batting, Schmetz Needles, and Aurifil Thread used in this project. I am an affiliate of Fat Quarter shop, so purchases you make with my affiliate links will earn me a small commision at no expense to you. Thanks!

When Fat Quarter Shop released another of their free shortcut patterns. I added this quilt as a quick finish to my queue. It was cut on a friday night, and the quilt top was done over the weekend!
