I’ve designed all my publications in EQ8. It’s easy to use and lets you experiment till your quilt is exactly what you want to bring to life! This is after paired with Accuquilt dies to make quick work to get all the shapes cut out in a flash.

Previously, I utilized EQ8 and Accuquilt the most for scrappy ideas. I would try out blocks from the Mix and Match book, recreate the block in electric quilter, then try out some color schemes.

Now with all 216 GO! Qube friendly blocks at my finger tips, the ideas are endless!

This add-on is compatible with all the Qube sets! You can design a sweet intricate mini-quilt, or scale to a large block king size quilt!

In 2021, I used the Carving block design to make the “Opal Carving” miniquilt. I had made 4 blocks and spun them around to see which layout I enjoyed.

Now I can expand on that block and see it as a whole quilt!

It was speedy to navigate to this block in the library since the blocks are in alphabetical order.

The only con would be the fabric requirements in EQ8 will be less than the amount required to be used for the Accuquilt system. However, this product comes with links to the Accuquilt references for fabric sizing which is handy on its own as well!
